Goldenstar's Spook'tacular

Sold - Congratulations to Sublime Alpacas

RIP Spook'tacular
You were a beautiful and fantastic boy.
You would have made a gorgeous herdsire
if your life hadn't ended so early.

Goldenstar's Spook'tacular is a phenomenal male!  He is everything we wanted out of this breeding (well we would have liked a female) .   Spook'tacular is a splitting image of his dam.  His fleece is buttery soft and you just want to run your fingers through it forever.  He has a well-defined crimp that is consistent and the bundling looks to be excellent.  He is still in cria fleece and we cannot wait to see what grows in after his first shearing.  His full sister, Cassiopeia, has wonderful fleece so we expect Spook'tacular to be as great, but I am thinking his fleece is looking much nicer than hers.   His fleece is also very dense.  When he was first born we could not believe the density on him or the staple length.  His conformation is dead on and his bone density is great.  He is a solid male and just gets better as he grows.

Spook'tacular is 3/4 Peruvian and 1/4 Chilean.  His genetics are top-notch, too.  On his sire's side, he has Dom Lucilio, Royal Fawn, and Augusto 6009.  His dam's side, has Royal Fawn and Jericho.   I absolutely LOVE the Jericho line and have not been disappointed in the fleece on alpacas sporting the Jericho line.

We would love to keep Spook'tacular, but he is related to half of our herd.  We will retain a few breedings to him.   Spook'tacular is too young for the Spring shows, but will be shown this Fall at the NJAC show in October.  Buy him now and show him yourself.  This is a future herdsire and his price is sure to go up.  His dam has won multiple blues in halter and fleece shows.  She even took highest brown huacaya score at MAPACA 2008!  Look for great things out of this male.

We will take new photos as soon as the weather clears up.  Look for better photos coming in late March.

First day of life. New photos coming soon
