We believe she would have done better if we had skirted the fleece better. She lost points for second cuts.
Dawn is entered in several more spin-offs around the country. We hope she continues her winning streak.

Dawn is a 3/4 Peruvian and 1/4 Chilean light fawn yearling. We have not shown Dawn's fleece yet, but we love the crimp that goes out to the end of the fiber. It is also very fine. Her sire is Snowmass Legacy's Golden Boy and boosts the genetics of 4Peruvian Legacy 6016 (sire side) and PPPeruvian Augusto 6009 on the dam's side. She was born July 2, 2007 and will be ready to breed Spring 2009.
Dawn's breeding will be to a pattern alpaca, Malloy's Thaddeus, owned by Berry Meadow Farm. We think this will be a fantastic match-up adding more density to Dawn's already fabulous fleece. Keep an eye out for this girl in the fleece shows and spin-offs. We think she will do very well.
