Welcome to Golden Star Farm.
Golden Star Farm is located in a beautiful farming community in Salem County, NJ. The road leading to the farm is populated with horse/cow farms and hay fields; Across the street is a private lake that enhances the view from the farm. The land was once used as a horse farm, but was converted to housing alpacas when we purchased it in 2006.
The farm currently sports 3 fields for the alpacas and one pasture waiting to be finished. Golden Star Farm is currently home to 16 alpacas. Most of the alpacas on the farm have won awards in the show ring from halter to fleece to spin-offs. Golden Star Farm strives to improve the fleece fineness, crimp and density with each breeding decision. Our goal is to produce alpacas with buttery soft fleece and great handle.
We would love to share our enthusiasm for these wondrous animals with you. We offer a wide range of opportunities to our customers including support after the sale, herd health information, boarding services, and much more.
Golden Star Farm is a member of AOBA, American Fiber Co-Op of North America (AFCNA), and NJ Alpaca Community (NJAC).
